Diamond Bar Montessori Academy is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy environment for our children and staff during the Covid-19 Pandemic. We are committed to keeping up with the recommendations and guidelines of the State of California, CDC, LA County Public Health, and DSS, and to help provide the necessary and requested services to support our parents and the community.
Handwashing has always been a standard mandatory practice at Diamond Bar Montessori Academy. Students wash their hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds throughout the day and when entering and exiting the facility.
The staff and children practice social distancing throughout the day. Children have assigned seating at tables for work and on the carpet for group lessons. Recess times are staggered to allow smaller groups of children on the playground at a time.
The school is sanitized and disinfected to the highest standards daily to assure a safe and secure environment for our students, parents, and staff. New and advanced equipment has been purchased, and new cleaning and sanitizing protocols have been put into place to ensure that your child is at one of the safest, cleanest, and finest Montessori facilities.
Staff and children's temperatures are checked and logged three times a day. Children who have a fever and/or symptoms of respiratory infection are not admitted to the facility.
